New reviews about business services in Minnetonka, Minnesota

  • This review is about Mr. Steven Thal (immigration attorney) and his team at the Thal Law office. Steven and his team is a group of honest, hard working, knowledgeable people. They helped me to file for my husband ‘s immigration process to bring him here to the U.S. They worked on our case for over two years. I would like to say that my situation was not just a simple case of filing for a spousal visa for a U.S Citizen rather it was very complicated case however my husband and I are together in this country just because we had Steven Thal’s knowledge, his good name, and integrity presenting our case to USCIS. They go above and beyond to make sure their clients are heard, and treated with respect through out their time with them. Mr. Thal and his assistant always replied to our questions promptly. Mr. Thai is a very genuine and kind person. We are blessed that we found him to help us out for my husband’s visa processing.

Not a true college prep school. Very limited in their HS course selection, no dedicated college advisory or carreer planning counselor. Eagle Ridge Academy provides a very sparse AP course offering. Students are taught the Shirley English program through 6th grade. This is discarded in 7th and 8th grade for a confusing and disappointing English program. Humanities classes are offered in High School in place of History and English. The school is understaffed and experiences high turn over. Teachers are overwhelmed and unable to score, grade, and provide meaningful feedback on the sheer volume of work they assign. There are better choices in the Twin Cities if you are considering a quality Charter school.

This review has been edited below. Nice enough apartment and amenities for the price, very rude office manager named Cindy. Very rude. Expensive and crappy laundry machines. Nice maintenance guy. Be prepared to be treated disrespectfully and like a number when it's time to move out. Living in a large apartment complex also seems to lend itself to many people being intolerant to children being children. Be prepared to have the water shut off often here. EDITED AFTER MANAGEMENT RESPONSE: My situation has not put me in a sticky place. We started our home buying process months ago. The reason I was upset about my conversation with Cindy was not that she would not give us a few days extra on our vacate notice due to our home buying process, it was that the simple act of me asking elicited an inappropriately angry response from her. All she needed do was politely say, "I'm sorry but cannot give you a few days wiggle room on the notice" and I could have walked away fine with the situation. It's not what you say, it's how you say it that leaves an impression. Moving and or home buying is often a stressful time for people, especially those with two young children (I'm also seven months pregnant). Empathy or sympathy goes a long way.

  • We have had a wonderful experience with Sleepy Tigers! My daughter started in October at 33 months and right away we noticed the staff were very caring and concerned with supporting her and us in the transition. She loves going to school and it is amazing how quickly she is picking up the language, often coming home singing songs or counting.
